A BIG thanks to those who have already signed up for our Virtual Christmas Craft Fair! Everyone is welcome to join us for these virtual activities.

It is exciting to see the variety of ideas and we are looking forward to seeing the other ideas that you are working on! The more people who host, the more options we will have to choose from and all the more to learn!

Sign up and write ups to host a workshop are due November 25th so we can give everyone enough time to sign up for the workshops. The write-ups can be really short - just two or three sentences about what your workshop is about - also feel free to include pictures.

Come and get to know us!

Meetings are held the first Monday of the month, from October to June, at 7:30p.m. September's meeting is held on the second Monday, also at 7:30 p.m. All meetings will be held online for the foreseeable future.

Following the discussions there is time to linger online, share experiences and meet new friends. Please email info@newlifehomeschool.com for further details.

September 14th September Welcome Meeting. Introduce our planned activities and get field trip ideas. Kick off to another great year!

October 5th October Meeting - Q&A and small group discussions on an article or blog post.

November 2nd November Meeting - Virtual Interest Showcase. Two minute presentations from kids and adults showing what they are passionate about these days.

December 7th Virtual Christmas Craft Workshop. Throughout the week, children can put on a workshop for children to follow along.

January 11th, 2021 January Meeting - New Year's Resolutions and Planning

11 January Meeting January 11, 2021 7:30 pm – 9:00 pm ONLINE! Map The first half of the meeting will be focused on sharing tips and tricks to making your life as a homeschool parent easier. What are some things you do that make life easier for you or your family? Please come ready to share at least one tip, but more are certainly welcome. For the second half of the meeting, we'd like to spend some time encouraging each other in our homeschooling journey. We will use breakout rooms to talk about the things that encourage us, where we go for encouragement and areas that we need encouragement. Looking forward to catching up with everyone. 15 Friday Co-Op (Zoom) January 15, 2021 1:30 pm – 3:30 pm Zoom Map We'll meet twice a month from 1-3pm on Zoom. This is for Gr. K-6/7. Prior to Christmas we met and did art, French and poetry online. There were times for the kids to collaborate and chat. It was a nice time of doing school together! These are the days we've planned for the new year so far: Jan. 15, 29 Feb. 12, 26 Mar. 12, 26 For the Jan. 15th meeting, a few of us have already signed up for a Dinosaur Field trip at the Royal Tyrell Museum earlier that day. Coop will start at 1:30pm that day. If you'd like to sign up for that virtual event, go here.
