Vancouver Maritime Museum - VIRTUAL FIELD TRIP

We're going to get a presentation about George Vancouver and sailing!
Man the Oars and Chart the Coast:
Experience what life at sea would have been like over 200 years ago! Discover the significance of Captain George Vancouver’s voyage to the Pacific Northwest. Learn about the challenges he and his crew faced and how they overcame them.
Grades: this class is designed by the museum for Gr. 4/5, but older and younger students are welcome.
Cost: It'll be about $7-10 per family for this class and you will receive confirmation once we see how many families join. Sign up with Kim. Workbook and Teaching Package included.

Meetings are held the first Monday of the month, from October to June, at 7:30p.m. September's meeting is held on the second Monday, also at 7:30 p.m. All meetings will be held online for the foreseeable future.

October 5th October Meeting - Q&A and small group discussions on an article or blog post.
November 2nd November Meeting - Virtual Interest Showcase. Two minute presentations from kids and adults showing what they are passionate about these days.
December 7th Virtual Christmas Craft Workshop. Throughout the week, children can put on a workshop for children to follow along.
